Camping for the glamorous has just got even more stylish so get ready for the summers festivals and the Royal wedding.
Glamping is for those that like the great outdoors and their creature comforts too.
And if you cant fork out for a hotel for the long waited Royal Wedding, glamping could be the answer.
One of London’s most prominent parks is being turned into an enormous campsite for the wedding of Prince William andKate Middleton.
Clapham Common in south London will be transformed into the most glamorous campsite in the country, union flags and bunting will be hung for three days, providing a base for 10,000 campers.
But rather than the casual apparel usually chosen by campers, guests will be encouraged to dress for the occasion, with prizes on offer for best-dressed guests and tents with the most creative interior design.
The pop-up campsite will run from Thursday, April 28 — the day before the wedding — to Sunday, May 1, at a price of £75 per person for the three nights.
Coaches will be provided by long-distance bus company, National Express, to take people to the site from 35UK locations.
Joy Williams from National Express said: “We are 100 percent committed to giving people from all corners of the country a hassle-free and cost-effective alternative to cars and central London hotels.”
A Lambeth Council spokesman said: “Clapham Common is a London landmark and a great location for royal wedding visitors and partygoers to base themselves and join in the fun.”
