The 97th edition of TTF, considered to be India’s biggest travel show network, has ended on Sunday.

The show was opened at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, and about 160 exhibitors had set up their stalls at the exhibition. 19 Indian states and 7 countries had taken part in the event that was expected to provide a boost to the tourism promotion activities of domestic and international tour operators.

International destinations such as Bhutan, Kenya, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Uzbekistan had been showcased. Domestic tour operators and states had also organised travel trade & media road shows to add value to their participation. Competition was quite high among participants as they vied for visitors’ attention.

TTF was also attended by a large number of hotels, resorts, travel agents, tour operators, cruise lines, railways etc. The event offered a platform for travellers to visit and explore places with tourist potential. In addition, they could interact face-to-face with service providers to evaluate options as per their individual needs. Bookings could be concluded from the location, and most of the participants were offering their best deals and discounts.

The three-day exhibition is believed to have attracted about 10,000 visitors.

TTF is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as well as travel industry bodies including the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), OTOAI (Outbound Tour Operators Association of India), and Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO).

TTF also has an official publication, Travel News Digest (TND) and more information can be obtained at www.ttfotm.com
