The Zagreb Tourist Board presented Zagreb at the TTF&OTM (Travel Tourism Fair&Outbound Travel Mart) fair, which was held in Mumbai (India) in February, and it’s proud to announce that Zagreb won the “Award for Excellence – the most promising new destination”.

Zagreb was presented as the Croatian capital and its tourist and cultural capital, and the interest in it was outstanding. TTF&OTM is India’s largest tourism fair, and the only trade fair that focuses on traveling outside of India. It was attended by more than 700 exhibitors from 31 countries and 25 Indian states in order to present their tourist destinations. The Zagreb Tourist Board was the only exhibitor from Croatia.

In the period February 24-27, the Zagreb Tourist Board will present Zagreb at the IFT show in Belgrade and will participate in a business workshop at the fair. Shortly after, begins the first solo presentation of the Zagreb Tourist Board at the ITB fair in Berlin, which takes place March 9-13. It is considered to be one of the most important European and international tourism fairs. With co-exhibitors, all of them representatives of travel agencies and hoteliers, the fair was attended by representatives of the city offices of tourism.

In addition to these fairs, the Zagreb Tourist Board is planning to increase marketing and promotional activities at the markets in India, China, Germany, USA, and Turkey, which are considered to be the growing and the most important markets of the Croatian capital. Zagreb will seek to justify the title of one of the 20 most desirable destinations, and thereby attract an even larger number of representatives of the tourism industry and visitors.
