easyJet is set to launch its first-ever flights to Georgia, with a new direct route connecting London Luton to Tbilisi.

Known for its rich history, culture, and scenic beauty, Tbilisi offers a fresh and affordable city break for UK travellers.

Starting April 1, 2025, easyJet will operate twice-weekly flights to the Georgian capital, with departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season. In addition to the London Luton route, new services from Geneva and Milan Malpensa to Tbilisi are also being introduced. Seats are now available for booking on easyJet.com and via the mobile app.

Tbilisi promises a unique blend of historic charm and modern vibrancy. Visitors can explore the city’s picturesque Old Town, relax in its famous sulphur baths, and enjoy the lively arts and culinary scene, including traditional Georgian cuisine and award-winning wines.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: ‘We are delighted to announce a new route to a brand-new destination on our network today, and to be providing direct connectivity between the UK and Tbilisi in Georgia for the first time from next summer, providing even more choice for our customers flying from London Luton who choose us for our unrivalled network which we continue to strengthen, our crew and their fantastic service, and of course our great value fares.’

To accommodate growing demand and enhance connectivity from London Luton, easyJet has recently expanded its Luton fleet with an additional Airbus A320, bringing the total to 25 aircraft.

Each year, over seven million passengers fly with easyJet from London Luton to 74 destinations, including major European cities like Paris and Amsterdam, as well as popular holiday spots in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, and Egypt.
