APT & Travelmarvel have announced two significant promotions within their sales team. These changes are designed to bolster their strategic partnerships and expand market reach.
Robin Griffiths and Becky Baumbach have been appointed to key positions, reflecting their contributions and commitment to the company’s growth.
Robin Griffiths has been promoted to the role of National Partnerships Manager. Joining APT & Travelmarvel in 2022 as a Business Development Manager, Griffiths has quickly made his mark, subsequently advancing to the position of National Account Manager.
With his new role commencing on September 2, Griffiths is tasked with elevating the company’s partnerships to a higher level. This will involve additional marketing investments, comprehensive product training, exclusive familiarisation trips, and the discovery of new commercial opportunities.
One of Griffiths’ primary objectives will be to expand APT & Travelmarvel’s distribution networks through strategic partnerships.
This initiative aims to further solidify the company’s position in the market, leveraging his vast experience and expertise to achieve these goals.
Having joined APT & Travelmarvel in 2019 as a Business Development Manager, Becky Baumbach has been instrumental in driving sales growth.
Her efforts have led to a remarkable 65% increase in retail sales and a 67% boost in homeworker sales, year on year.
In her new role as National Sales Manager, Baumbach will oversee three regional business development managers, manage consortia accounts, and set quarterly sales targets to sustain and enhance this growth trajectory.
APT & Travelmarvel’s recent expansions include the introduction of small group journeys for up to 16 guests and new small ship cruises in Europe on the MS Caledonian Sky.
These additions are part of a broader strategy to diversify their offerings and cater to a wider range of customer preferences.
Brad Bennetts, Head of Sales & Business Development at APT & Travelmarvel, praised the newly promoted executives, saying, “Robin and Becky’s promotions are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the remarkable results they’ve achieved.
Their expertise and leadership will be critical as we continue to expand our product offerings and strengthen our trade partnerships. These changes underscore our commitment to supporting our trade partners and recognising our team members’ success.
APT & Travelmarvel’s strategy focuses on internal progression and team development. By promoting from within, they aim to leverage existing talent and maintain a strong, experienced leadership team.
This approach not only boosts employee morale but also ensures continuity and a deep understanding of the company’s values and objectives.
The promotions of Robin Griffiths and Becky Baumbach highlight APT & Travelmarvel’s commitment to fostering talent and enhancing their strategic partnerships.
With these changes, the company is well-positioned to continue its growth and innovation within the travel industry.
