The recent promotion of Gary Anslow at Norwegian Cruise Line marks a significant step in the company’s expansive strategy for its UK and Ireland operations. As a pivotal international market, these regions are set to experience enhanced support and growth under Anslow’s leadership.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has signalled a robust commitment to its UK and Ireland markets, underscored by the promotion of Gary Anslow as the regional vice-president and head of these regions. His promotion aligns with NCL’s strategic objective to deepen its presence and support infrastructure in this vital international market. Anslow, stepping up from his role as senior sales director from 2021, is entrusted with amplifying NCL’s influence and fostering vital support networks for frontline agents.

NCL is augmenting its sales structure with two additional field-based account executives. This move is aimed at enhancing brand knowledge and awareness across the UK. The company believes that by expanding their team, they can significantly improve their market penetration and support for travel partners.

Jason Krimmel, chief international sales and marketing officer, emphasized the importance of the UK and Ireland as NCL’s largest market outside North America. His insights underline the region’s growth potential and its strategic value to NCL’s global operations.

As part of its strategy to enhance support for agents, NCL has invested in training and development programs. These initiatives aim to provide travel partners with the essential tools and expertise required to navigate evolving market trends effectively.

Indeed, NCL’s strategic direction is set to turn these regions into robust hubs for its operations, reflecting an understanding of local nuances and an adaptive approach to global market dynamics.
