    James Haigh Appointed Chair of African Travel Association

    James Haigh is set to take on a significant role as the new chair of the African Travel and Tourism Association (Atta) this October. His extensive experience and understanding of the African tourism sector are expected to greatly benefit the organisation.

    Haigh has cultivated over 15 years of expertise in the region, particularly through his role as joint chief executive of Tourvest’s East African operations. His leadership is anticipated to usher in a new era for Atta, reinforcing its position as the leading voice for the travel industry in Africa.

    In taking over from the outgoing chair, Nick Aslin, Haigh is charged with the task of advancing Atta’s mission. Aslin himself has expressed confidence in Haigh’s capabilities, stating that his appointment is crucial for maintaining the positive and impactful direction of the organisation.
