Tui Group is initiating a significant expansion into Africa by introducing a new upscale hotel brand. This move is marked by the opening of the first Mora property in Zanzibar this summer. The introduction of Mora is part of a broader strategy to establish eight new hotels across Africa, reaching into The Gambia, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya, and Cape Verde.

The Mora property in Zanzibar is the first of Tui’s upscale hotel ventures on the African continent. This strategically planned expansion will not only strengthen Tui’s presence in these regions but also diversify the accommodation options available to travellers.

Plans for the expansion include establishing a pipeline of eight new hotels across key destinations. By focusing on locations in The Gambia, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya, and Cape Verde, Tui aims to tap into the unexplored potential of these vibrant regions.

Tui is set to diversify its offerings in Africa through various brands, including Tui Blue and Tui Suneo. While Tui Blue aims to provide a premium experience, Tui Suneo targets budget-conscious travellers, thereby catering to a wide range of customer preferences.
