The inaugural Expedition Cruise Network conference is rapidly gaining traction, capturing the attention of key players in the travel industry. Fourteen exhibitors have committed to participating in the event, set to take place in London this autumn. Such enthusiasm underscores the growing interest in expedition cruising as a burgeoning sector.

Within just one week of its announcement, the event has filled three-quarters of its available exhibitor slots. Among the noteworthy exhibitors are notable names like Aqua Expeditions, Cruceros Australis, and Silversea, highlighting the calibre of participants drawn to the conference.

Hurtigruten Expeditions has been named the lead sponsor for the two-day conference conducted at the Bankside Hotel. The sponsorship reflects the company’s integral role and commitment to advancing the expedition cruise industry.

The conference promises attendees a highly engaging experience, with up to 30 pre-arranged face-to-face meetings facilitated through a digital platform. This innovative approach enables UK sellers of expedition cruises to connect directly with exhibitors, maximising networking and business opportunities.

A diverse mix of independent agents, tour operators, home-workers, and leisure agents is expected to attend, ensuring a broad representation of the travel industry. ECN’s co-founder and chief executive, Akvile Marozaite, expressed delight at the exceptional interest, signalling a positive outlook for the conference.
