Worldia, a prominent French tour operator, has launched its advanced booking platform to UK agents following Atol approval.

    • The platform offers agents the capability to create bespoke travel itineraries with real-time pricing and more than 800,000 products.
    • The service promises to enhance efficiency, enabling quicker quote generation and potentially boosting sales conversion rates.
    • Dave Pope, the Business Development Manager, highlights the platform as a transformative tool for travel agents’ operations.
    • Worldia aims to expand its reach, following successful operations in multiple European countries and the US.

Worldia, established in Paris, has recently received Atol certification, allowing it to expand its operations into the UK market. This certification permits Worldia to offer its ‘revolutionary’ booking platform to UK travel agents, enabling them to create tailor-made trips with the use of real-time pricing and availability features. The platform boasts an extensive catalogue with over 800,000 products, which provides agents with an array of options to tailor their offerings to client demands.

The company contends that its platform will significantly streamline the booking process, allowing quotes to be generated swiftly and thereby enhancing sales conversion rates. The ease and speed of booking are underscored by the ability to create travel itineraries ‘in just a few clicks’, representing a substantial improvement in efficiency for travel professionals.

Dave Pope, Worldia’s Business Development Manager, previously served as the head of sales and training at Not Just Travel. He advocates for the adoption of this platform, suggesting it represents the future of travel booking. Pope is enthusiastic about the platform’s potential to reduce booking times significantly and, therefore, improve business outcomes for travel agents and homeworkers alike. He asserts, ‘The most precious thing we have in business and life is time. If you can book more holidays in less time, that agency or homeworker is going to have a better business.’

Founded in 2013, Worldia already has a presence in France, Germany, Spain, and the United States. By entering the UK market, they aim to replicate their success and enhance their presence within the European travel industry. The firm’s customer service team, stationed in Berlin, offers 24/7 support to agents, ensuring a reliable and efficient service.

Worldia’s initiative to bring its platform to the UK is part of its broader strategy to increase market penetration and offer innovative travel solutions globally. The company positions itself as a key player in the digital transformation of travel services, inviting UK agents to join their ‘revolution,’ which promises to change the way holidays are booked, offering both time-saving benefits and expanded travel options.

Worldia’s expansion into the UK market marks a significant development in travel booking technology, promising enhanced efficiency and a broadened scope for agents.
