The Maldives Resort Seeks to Attract the Group Travel Market in 2025

To meet the growing trend of multigenerational and group travel, Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives, the idyllic island playground resort renowned for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere, is thrilled to announce the introduction of a new room category designed to better accommodate larger travel parties. In addition, the resort is set to launch an exciting Teen Club and Art Lab, rounding off the experience for families and groups.

As multigenerational and group travel continues to grow in popularity (according to studies up to 40% of the leisure sector is multigenerational) Seaside Finolhu is making some key changes to accommodate multigenerational families and larger travel parties.

The new offerings include a stylish connecting villa, thoughtfully designed to provide the perfect retreat for families and friends travelling together. The interconnecting villas feature three elegantly appointed bedrooms, conveniently linked to create a private haven for guests. It offers abundant space and luxurious amenities, ideal for larger families or groups seeking an unforgettable getaway.

The 735m² connecting villa option is comprised of two beach villas with a pathway seamlessly linking the two. It can accommodation six adults and four children in total or up to nine adults, featuring ocean views, a private garden and a pool. Guests can enjoy direct beach access as well as an outdoor rain shower.

“We are delighted to expand our accommodation options to better serve our guests,” said Steven Phillips, General Manager of Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives. “Our new interconnecting villa option reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for families and larger groups, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Maldives together.”

The Art Lab will serve as a creative hub, allowing guests of all ages to unleash their artistic talents and engage in a range of creative workshops and classes with a mindful approach.

These new additions come as part of Seaside Finolhu’s ongoing commitment to improving the guest experience, ensuring that every visitor finds their perfect slice of paradise.
