Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, a US-based holding company for hotel properties, will be opening three new hotels in Peru in 2012, through a franchising agreement with Peru-based, Hoteles Costa del Sol.
The company will be opening three new Ramada Hotels in Peru, adding to its existing portfolio of 90 properties in Latin America.
Daniel del Olmo, the company senior vice president and managing director of Latin America, said, ‘We are very excited to announce the expansion of our alliance with the Costa del Sol hotel group. It serves as a prime example of how we intend to significantly grow our presence across Latin America by affiliating existing portfolios and national hotel chains in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Mexico, which are our key growth markets.’
Hoteles Costa del Sol owns and operates the 130-room Ramada Costa del Sol Lima Airport Hotel, located close to the Jorge Chavez Lima – Callao International Airport. The hotel amenities include a 24-hour restaurant, a bar, a spa and fitness facilities, meeting rooms, complimentary breakfast and wireless Internet access.
The Ramada Costa del Sol Cusco has 77 guestrooms, and is located in the town of Cusco, known as the gateway to Machu Picchu. Machu Pichu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most famous of Peru’s attractions.
The Ramada Costa del Sol Tumbes has 55 rooms and is located in the city of Tumbes. Hotel amenities include a restaurant and a bar, a fitness room with a personal trainer, a casino, complimentary breakfast, Internet access, and meeting facilities.
