The airline is also offering a sale of direct flights to Charles de Gaulle Airport, in Paris, commencing from £32 per person, and package breaks commencing from £180 per person per night. The airline has also increased the number of flights to Paris from Manchester Airport, to five departures per week, allowing rugby fans to support the Wales team, as the Six Nations tournament will be hosting a match between France and Wales on February 9, 2013, at the Stade de France.
Steve Heapy, the chief commercial officer of Jet2.com and managing director of Jet2holidays, said, ‘Since first launching our Paris flights from Manchester Airport, we’ve seen increasing demand from our loyal North West customers who are clearly making use of the direct service right from their local airport.
Our great value flights and new earlier start consolidates our position as the region’s leading leisure airline offering an unrivalled choice for local travellers. Scheduled just in time for the February half term, our Paris flights also provide families a cultural alternative when it comes to choosing where to spend their precious time off together.’
