UK-based airline, bmi regional, has launched the biggest January sale in its history, offering discounts of up to 30 percent on 250,000 seats across its extensive network.

With a travel window from March 1 to October 26, 2014, the airline is offering service to eight countries across Europe, starting from only £39.99 (one way). The key routes on offer include:

East Midlands/Newcastle Brussels from £69.99: Visitor friendly, Brussels is a popular destination for weekend getaways. A centre of European culture, Brussels offers much more than the chocolate and beer that it is famous for. Known as ‘the European Village’, Brussels has almost 90 museums, beautiful parks, cheap, easily accessible public transport and hotel accommodation.

Bristol – Frankfurt from £69.99: Germany’s fifth-largest city, Frankfurt is an ideal weekend destination for art lovers. From the Stadel museum’s large old master collection to the tiny Museum of Applied Art, to the Saturday flea market, the city is much more than the financial metropolis for which it is best known.

Bristol – Milan (Malpensa) from £69.99: Financially Italy’s most important city, Milan is a paradise for shopping, football, opera, nightlife and fashion. The city is divided into ultra-modern and breathtakingly ancient – with more than 26 centuries of history and heritage to explore.

Aberdeen – Oslo from £99.99: The world’s winter capital is known for its cross-country ski trails; ice skating and tobogganing for the sporting enthusiast, and offers plenty to entertain those who want to shop, dance, dine or explore its culture.

bmi regional’s Steve Hoy, said: ‘Go ahead – pack what you want – as bags fly free with bmi regional. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks on all flights and, with just a 30-minute check in, you can save both time and money this year!’

All flights in the bmi regional sale have the usual no-cost extra facilities, including: complimentary drinks and snacks on board; 30-minute check in and a 20kg hold baggage allowance.
