easyJet, a UK-based airline, has said that its award-winning European Graduate Recruitment Programme, is open for applications for the third consecutive year.

Fresh graduates can apply via http://careers.easyjet.com/graduates/ for places on the 2014 intake of the airline’s two-year training scheme. The successful applicants will gain hands-on experience in key easyJet departments across the businesses, which include Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT, Network, Revenue & Sales, Marketing and HR, with a permanent job at the airline on completing the programme.

The closing date for applications is November 15, 2013, and short-listed applicants will be invited to attend a final stage assessment at easyJet’s Training Academy in the UK.

The programme gives the selected graduates an opportunity to be fully involved in the day-to-day activities and business critical projects of the airline. The course will enable them to develop their commercial and operational expertise, with support from a dedicated mentor to build a successful career in their chosen field.

Alita Benson, easyJet’s group people director, said: ‘We are delighted to be opening the recruitment process for easyJet’s 2014 Graduate Recruitment Programme.

‘We’re fully committed to discovering and nurturing new talent at easyJet and this is one of the ways in which we do this across Europe. easyJet is a dynamic and fun place to be and we are experiencing real growth at a time when many businesses and airlines are struggling. The Graduate Recruitment Programme is a great opportunity for talented graduates to learn from industry leaders and develop their skills for a career that will really take-off.’

easyJet’s European Graduate Programme has recently been voted top of the JobCrowd’s Logistics and Transport ranking. Since its launch, 47 graduates have taken part in the scheme and have been recruited from across Europe from countries including the UK, Portugal, Greece, Spain Germany and Italy.
