easyJet, the UK’s largest airline by amount of passengers, has today set out its winter 2013 schedule of flights for sale, for the period of 27th October 2013 to 2nd March 2014.
More than 71,000 flights have been added to the schedule, which is now available for bookings at easyJet.com. It covers over 300 routes flying from 11 UK airports, with over 11 million seats on offer for customers to select from. Malaga and Alicante are popular easyJet destinations for travellers looking to escape the miserable winter weather, and these routes are well-serviced. Other popular escapes include Amsterdam, Barcelona and Milan, while ski resorts also feature prominently on the schedule – easyJet has confirmed that Geneva will be well served.
‘Our customers are absolutely at the heart of what we do so we ensure we fly to the destinations our customers tell us they most want to visit,’ said Paul Simmons, easyJet’s UK Director. ‘ Together with the opening up of new routes our winter 2013 schedule is packed with firm favourites that I’m sure will be a huge hit with travellers. Plus as ever, those who book early will reap the greatest cost savings.’
‘easyJet is not standing still as recent weeks have shown with the launch of flights to Moscow and the announcement that we will be serving Norway for the first time ever from 20 May 2013. We’re continuing to expand our network, bringing more competition and lower fares as well as opening up new markets to both leisure and business travellers alike.’
easyJet, headquartered at Luton airport near London, has grown to become the UK’s largest airline based on passengers carried since its formation in 1995. It operates a fleet of more than 200 airplanes, mostly Airbus A319’s.
