The Future Travel Coalition is seeking feedback from industry members as the general election approaches.

A new survey aims to gauge industry perspectives on bookings, recruitment issues, and pandemic-related debt.

The Future Travel Coalition, an alliance of 14 associations, is actively seeking feedback from travel businesses to understand current trends and challenges. This initiative is crucial for preparing ahead of the upcoming general election.

The survey invites members of these associations to share insights on booking trends and recruitment challenges, aiming to present a comprehensive picture of the industry’s landscape to policymakers.

The survey, open to members of the coalition’s associations, is designed to address key areas of concern, including the outlook for future bookings and the impact of pandemic-related debts.

Feedback gathered will inform the coalition’s engagement with government officials, ensuring the travel industry’s concerns are addressed in future policies.

Key findings from the survey will support engagement with politicians across all parties, especially as the election nears.

The coalition aims to leverage the data to advocate for policies benefiting the travel sector.

By having tangible evidence, the industry can effectively communicate its needs to policymakers.

Luke Petherbridge, ABTA’s public affairs director, emphasises the importance of participation, encouraging members to contribute their insights.

He notes, “Our bi-annual surveys are vital for providing the evidence required to engage with officials.”

It is essential for businesses to report on booking trends and recruitment conditions.

Supporting the survey allows the coalition to advocate with evidence-based arguments.

Data will highlight the industry’s needs, facilitating robust discussions with government officials.

A well-documented industry state helps in formulating practical, supportive policies.

The coalition recognises both challenges and opportunities in the lead up to the election.

Understanding recruitment difficulties and financial burdens can lead to targeted approaches for resolution.

The industry’s proactive stance can shape favourable outcomes.

The survey is available for completion until May 10, providing ample time for participants to contribute.

It is an opportunity for the industry to ensure its voice is heard in shaping future travel policies.

As the general election approaches, the Future Travel Coalition’s survey serves as a vital tool for gathering industry insights.

Active participation will ensure that the travel sector’s needs are accurately represented in future policies.
