Thomson Airways, a UK based charter airline company, will be the first leisure carrier to operate a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The airline is planning to induct the initial aircraft to its flight schedule from May 1, 2013. First TransPennine Express, a British train operating company, has reported that its modernisation project for Stalybridge station is expected to be completed by November 2012. Transport for London (TfL), a UK-based government agency responsible for transport in Greater London, is partnering VisitBritain, the official tourism website for Great Britain. The agency is partnering with VisitBritain to promote and distribute the Visitor Oyster card, a smartcard that allows travellers to use public transport without tickets.
