The Eden Project in Cornwall, UK, has added what is claimed to be England’s longest zip wire to its more traditional botanical attractions. The popular tourist attraction, which is based on a site near St Austell in Cornwall, is best known for its gardens and its iconic biomes, huge plastic domes that house tropical and sub-tropical plants in greenhouse-type conditions, but the new zip wire literally gives the site a whole new perspective. Countries where the mistreatment of animals is commonplace are unlikely to be visited a second time by animal-loving British tourists, according to the findings of a recent study. Around 52 percent of British travellers have stated that witnessing mistreatment of animals can put them off visiting a foreign country for a second time, according to a YouGov survey commissioned by the global animal charity, SPANA (the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad). Airline passengers feel that a move by Airbus, an aircraft manufacturer, to offer extra-wide seats on its A320 family of aircraft, is unfair, reports UK-based flight search engine, Skyscanner. Previously, Airbus announced that it is considering the replacement of some of its standard A320 aircraft seats, measuring 18 inches wide, with new extra wide aisle seats that have a total width of 20 inches.
