    A new study reveals Élysée as the most luxurious arrondissement for a Paris Christmas break.

    Travel experts at Paris Tours & Tickets have compiled data to reveal the number of Michelin-starred restaurants, five-star hotels, and luxury designer boutiques in each arrondissement. The factors were examined to calculate scores out of 100 and uncover the most lavish spots for a Christmas getaway in Paris.

    The 8th arrondissement, Élysée, claims the top spot with an impressive score of 99.24. Home to the iconic Hôtel Ritz, this district offers an unrivalled selection of 44 five-star hotels, earning it a perfect rating of 10 for its exceptional accommodation.

    Élysée also claimed the top spot for its 31 Michelin-starred establishments, earning another perfect ranking of 10.

    The arrondissement came close to perfection, achieving 9.69 for its 89 high-end stores and solidifying its status as the ultimate destination for a luxurious Chrismas getaway.

    Placing second with a final score of 77.92 is the 1st arrondissement, home to the Musée du Louvre. This district nearly hit perfection with a 9.31 score for its 57 premium designer stores while earning an impressive 8.41 for its 17 five-star hotels.

    Not to mention, the arrondissement hosts the three-star Michelin restaurant Plénitude, which serves classic cuisine with modern twists.

    In third place is the 7th arrondissement, known as Palais-Bourbon, the seat of the National Assembly and the location of the world-renowned Eiffel Tower. With a final score of 75.90, this district has a first-class array of 32 high-end stores, earning it a notable 8.71.

    A stroll through Palais-Bourbon will lead you past exclusive brands like Tiffany, Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Chanel, offering visitors an exclusive Christmas shopping experience.

    The 6th arrondissement, which secured fourth place with a final score of 63.46, is renowned for the Quartier du Luxembourg.

    This district is a prime destination for a luxurious escape, with 16 high-end boutiques earning it a score of 7.28, and seven five-star hotels contributing to its 6.64 rating.

    The 6th arrondissement offers a sophisticated blend of upscale shopping and refined accommodations, perfect for a lavish winter getaway.

    The 16th arrondissement, also known as Passy, secured fifth place with a final score of 61.87.

    Recognised for its luxurious offerings, the district scored 8.07 for its 15 Michelin-starred restaurants, including Blanc, where diners can enjoy a chef’s table experience with a set menu for €450.

    With a 7.57 rating for its 11 five-star hotels, Passy remains a key destination for luxury travellers.

    Following closely in sixth place with a final score of 61.67 is the 9th arrondissement, which is recognised for the famed Palais Garnier opera house.

    This district is a paradise for luxury shoppers, boasting a perfect score of 10 for its 135 premium stores, including nine Burberry and Gucci stores, making it a hot location for those craving a designer shopping spree.

    In seventh place is the 2nd arrondissement, home to the Bourse de Commerce, a contemporary art museum.

    With a final score of 53.51, this district earned a score of 6.75 for its considerable choice of eight Michelin-starred establishments, like Shabour, Frenchie, and Fleur de Pavé.

    The 17th arrondissement, known as Batignolles-Monceau, takes the eighth spot, with a score of 51.56. It offers a more tranquil atmosphere than other parts of Paris.

    This district scored 6.75 for its nine Michelin-starred restaurants, making it the perfect destination for a luxurious and serene Christmas getaway where refined dining and a peaceful setting meet.

    In ninth place, with a final score of 41.04, is the 4th arrondissement, which houses the historic Hôtel de Ville, the City Hall of Paris.

    This district is not only a cultural landmark but also a top location for luxury accommodations, earning 5.44 points for its choice of four five-star hotels.

    Lastly, the 11th arrondissement, known as Popincourt, has a final score of 36.55. While it may not top the list, Popincourt has a rating of 5.29 for its five Michelin restaurants, perfect for food lovers craving an upscale dining escape this Christmas.
