    Anthony Daniels Departs Hurtigruten Leadership and Future Prospects

    Anthony Daniels has resigned from his role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hurtigruten, effective immediately.

    Serving in this capacity for nine years, Daniels has been a catalyst for growth and innovation across UK and emerging markets.

    Anthony Daniels, a seasoned veteran within the cruise industry, has officially ended his tenure as Hurtigruten’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. During his nine-year journey with the company, Daniels played a pivotal role in steering the commercial team’s activities across the United Kingdom and emerging markets, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.

    Daniels has decided to embark on a new journey, dedicating his time to future projects. Additionally, he will be on garden leave until 14 May, marking his formal departure. Expressing pride in his achievements, Daniels said, “I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved during my time at Hurtigruten.”

    Over the years, Daniels has been instrumental in orchestrating Hurtigruten’s business strategies, showcasing a clear vision and determination in expanding the market reach.     Before joining Hurtigruten, Daniels amassed extensive experience in the cruise industry. He served as Business Development Manager for APAC & MEA at Norwegian Cruise Line, followed by roles as Sales Manager at Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Cunard.

    Patrick Brewer, Chief Commercial Officer at Hurtigruten, acknowledged Daniels’ significant contributions, stating, “I am very grateful to Anthony for all he has done for Hurtigruten in the UK and emerging markets over the many years.”

    As the company navigates this transition period, James Howlett, UK Sales Manager, will assume the role of point of contact for Hurtigruten’s operations in the UK.
