Cruise Nation, a cruise tour operator, has appointed travel and lifestyle agency, Rooster PR, to strengthen its profile in the UK.

Established in 2009, Cruise Nation offers packages from the world’s top cruise lines to a range of destinations, including Alaska, Hawaii and the Far East.

The company’s Smart Packages offer personalised solutions for customers with exclusive deals and value additions, including free hotel stays and convenient flights, room upgrades and additional on-board spend. Rooster has been tasked with enhancing consumer coverage of the brand, and promoting Cruise Nation as the go-to cruise expert offering unbeatable prices.

The PR effort will target travel and lifestyle press with the aim of attracting established cruise passengers to switch to Cruise Nation, and encouraging new-to-cruise holidaymakers to book for the first time.

Rooster intends to position Cruise Nation as the consumer champion for cruise and flight packages, helping customers to create their ideal cruise itinerary to suit their budget, schedule and interests.

‘With year-on-year growth of 182 percent and with over 40,000 subscribers, we feel it’s time to fast-track the public’s awareness of Cruise Nation in the UK. Rooster has proven expertise in this area and we can’t wait to start spreading the word about the great value cruise packages we offer,’ said Phil Evans, managing director of Cruise Nation.

James Brooke, Rooster’s managing director commented: ‘Cruise Nation’s business has doubled in size this year and we’re looking forward to kicking off their first UK PR campaign. Their Smart Packages allow customers to create a holiday that fits their needs as well as providing outstanding value-for-money.’
