Cunard is integrating expertise and premium gastronomy by partnering with celebrated Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw.

This collaboration promises an unrivalled dining experience on the Queen Victoria, enhancing the allure of Mediterranean cruises.

Cunard has announced a prestigious partnership with Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw, famous for his culinary expertise focused on seafood. This collaboration will see a version of Outlaw’s acclaimed Fish Kitchen restaurant grace the decks of the Queen Victoria during four Mediterranean cruises this coming summer. Each cruise will feature a specially curated five-course seafood tasting menu that promises to enchant 60 guests per sitting.

The maiden voyage in the series will embark on July 7, setting sail from Barcelona to Civitavecchia, the gateway to Rome. Chef Outlaw himself will be aboard for the first week, offering his unique culinary insights and skills to passengers. This immersive experience will not only tantalise taste buds but also provide an opportunity for direct engagement with the chef.

During his time on board, Nathan Outlaw will conduct live cooking demonstrations, a highlight expected by culinary enthusiasts. Furthermore, as part of the ship’s engagement activities, Outlaw will participate in intimate Q&A sessions held at the Royal Court Theatre. These events aim to deepen the connection between passengers and this extraordinary culinary journey.

This new venture with Nathan Outlaw follows Cunard’s commitment to elevate luxury cruising through exceptional dining experiences. The cruise line has also announced it will renew its collaboration with Michelin-starred Michel Roux in 2025, further solidifying its dedication to gourmet excellence. The series, titled ‘Le Gavroche at Sea,’ will occur over the scenic Norwegian fjords.

Expressing his excitement, Nathan Outlaw said, “Teaming up with Cunard is a really exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to get on board Queen Victoria to showcase the very best of Outlaw’s.” The chef is passionate about Mediterranean cuisine and aims to deliver exceptional seafood dishes, adding a unique twist to the luxury dining experience available on Cunard’s voyages.

This partnership not only underscores Cunard’s dedication to fine dining but also its forward-thinking approach in offering unique culinary experiences at sea. As the tourism and hospitality sectors evolve, such collaborations set new standards in luxury travel, promising remarkable adventures for discerning passengers.
