Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is set for a dynamic year in Europe with an expanded fleet and the launch of the Norwegian Viva.

The company plans to increase its European presence with 12 ships by 2024, creating unforgettable experiences for travellers across multiple destinations.

NCL’s strategic growth in Europe includes deploying nine ships in 2023, rising to 12 by 2024. The fleet expansion underscores NCL’s commitment to delivering enhanced travel experiences. By offering diverse itineraries, the cruise line aims to immerse guests in the rich cultures and histories of Europe, featuring journeys to iconic sites like Rome’s ancient ruins and Malta’s prehistoric temples.

The itineraries are crafted to offer guests a profound connection with each locale. For instance, the nine-day Greek Isles itinerary on Norwegian Breakaway covers Santorini and Mykonos, enhancing the cultural depth of these stunning destinations.

Moreover, excursions such as the ferry trip from Mykonos to Delos, a UNESCO world heritage site, are designed to enrich the travel experience.

The launch of Norwegian Viva marks a significant milestone, being the second ship in NCL’s Prima class.

Boasting features like The Haven by Norwegian and Ocean Boulevard, the vessel promises luxurious and innovative cruising experiences. The ship will commence its 11-day Transatlantic voyage from Portugal to the Dominican Republic in November, offering highlights such as Ponta Delgada’s hot springs and Miami’s vibrant attractions.

Guests can enjoy stunning sights from a cable car ride at Mount Isabel de Torres in Puerto Plata, enhancing their sense of adventure.

Norwegian Jewel is set to embark on the Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam cruise in early 2024. This 11-day journey will captivate travellers with experiences like vibrant markets in Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket’s beautiful beaches.

Additionally, the Norwegian Dawn will highlight the beauty of South Africa with its Port Elizabeth, Durban, and Lüderitz voyage, scheduled for February and March 2024.

To stimulate bookings, NCL is providing a 35% discount on cruises, alongside Free at Sea packages, which start at £149pp.

Guests can benefit from up to £250pp airfare credit on most sailings which could further incentivise early reservations. These packages include premium beverages, speciality dining, and more.

Additional incentives are compelling for both guests and travel agents.

Through these offers, Norwegian Cruise Line aims to boost its market presence and appeal to a broad range of travellers.

Norwegian Cruise Line is setting the stage for transformative travel experiences with its expanded fleet and the introduction of Norwegian Viva.

With enriched itineraries and attractive offers, the cruise line is well-positioned to capture the imagination of travellers seeking unique and luxurious cruising adventures.

NCL’s strategic initiatives promise an exciting future in the cruise industry.

Through expansion and innovation, the company is providing compelling opportunities for travel aficionados to explore the world.
