Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, is enhancing its route between Aberdeen and Dublin with a significant increase in flight frequency.

Starting this September, travellers can enjoy up to two flights per day, providing greater convenience and flexibility for trips to the Irish capital. Tickets are now available for purchase.

Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: ‘Reflecting customer demand, we are delighted to be increasing our services between Aberdeen and Dublin. Passengers will now have access to even more convenient timings, allowing for greater choice and flexibility in their travel plans. Whether it’s for business or leisure, our increased frequency ensures that passengers can visit Ireland with ease, year-round.’

Chris Tibbett, Aero Director at AGS Airports, added: ‘We welcome these additional flights connecting Aberdeen to the Irish capital, offering even more choices to customers and further opening up Aer Lingus’ vast North American network. It is now easier than ever, not only for Aberdonians to visit Dublin but also for visitors from Ireland to visit the North-East of Scotland and explore the beauty our region has to offer.’

The expanded service will operate up to two flights daily on key days-Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday-making it ideal for weekend getaways to Dublin. Passengers can enjoy a range of Dublin’s attractions, from its scenic parks and lively pub scene to the historic charm of Temple Bar and the vibrant streets of the Fair City. For those extending their journey, Aer Lingus Regional also offers a twice-daily service from Dublin Airport to Donegal.

Travelers arriving in the US can benefit from US Immigration Pre-clearance at Dublin Airport, avoiding lengthy immigration queues upon arrival.
