Flybe, the UK-based regional airline, has released its 2019-20 Winter schedule from Cardiff Airport, featuring eight key routes with a choice of up to 120 flights a week, with extra services to some of its most popular destinations.

Flybe’s 2019-20 Winter schedule from Cardiff Airport includes increased flights between Cardiff and Dublin, with up to 38 flights a week; Edinburgh – with up to 36 flights a week; and Paris Charles de Gaulle – with up to 16 flights a week.

The airline’s 2019-20 Winter schedule from Cardiff also includes daily service to Belfast City, three services a week to Cork on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; three services a week to Jersey on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The schedule further includes seasonal ski routes to Geneva and Chambery, both operating on Saturdays starting December 14, 2019. The Chambery service will be on sale, beginning June 2019.

Seats are available for booking at www.flybe.com, effective for travel between October 27, 2019 and March 28, 2020.

Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, says: ‘Our 2019/20 Winter schedule has been planned to provide reliable and affordable travel for both business and leisure customers. Our regional network offers lots of opportunity for making onward connections with our codeshare partners and others at key hub airports. This makes it easy for our customers to travel to and from Cardiff from an airport close to where they live, saving valuable time, effort and money.’

CEO of Cardiff Airport, Deb Barber, added: ‘We have been working very closely with Flybe since the airline announced its plan to restructure and reduce its jet operations across several of its bases.’

‘The release of the Cardiff schedule for the 2019/20 Winter season is a positive reflection of the airline’s commitment to Wales, offering choice and providing good connectivity within the UK, Ireland and France.

‘Core routes to Dublin, Edinburgh, Belfast and Paris will continue to operate as will regular flights to Cork, Jersey and ski flights to Geneva and Chambery*. These services are fundamental to ensuring travellers can travel into and out of Cardiff as a gateway to the region, whether it is for business, leisure or education.’

Flybe franchise partner, Eastern Airways, will continue to operate regular flights to Anglesey, Newcastle and Aberdeen as part of its 2019-20 Winter schedule. These services are also bookable now on Flybe’s website.
