London Stansted Airport is set to enhance its route network with the introduction of 12 new services in 2024.

As one of the UK’s leading airports serving European destinations, Stansted continues to strengthen its reach, covering over 190 destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The newly announced routes and services include:

Amman, Jordan – Royal Jordanian Airlines, a member of the oneworld Alliance, including British Airways, is set to launch a new route to Amman, Jordan’s capital, starting March 3. The airline will operate three weekly flights initially, increasing to four during peak summer. Fares from London start at £257, with flights departing mid-afternoon and arriving in Amman at 10.35 pm.

Nice, Florence, and Ibiza – British Airways will introduce weekend flights to three popular holiday destinations – Nice, Florence, and Ibiza – starting May 18. Operated by BA CityFlyer, flights will be available from £36 to Ibiza, £41 to Florence, and £43 to Nice. The services will use Embraer 190 aircraft with Club Europe and Euro Traveller cabins.

Antalya, Adana, and Gaziantep – Sun Express, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, will expand its services to major Turkish cities, including Antalya, Adana, and Gaziantep. The airline, already a popular choice for flights to Turkey from Stansted, continues to enhance its offerings with over 70 weekly flights to various Turkish destinations.

Agadir, Marrakech, and Tivat – Jet2 will introduce new flights and holiday packages to Morocco from October. The airline will operate twice-weekly flights to Agadir and Marrakech. Additionally, Tivat in Montenegro will become a new route for the airport starting this summer.

Dubrovnik and Sarajevo – Ryanair is expanding its network with the addition of Sarajevo and the opening of a new base at Dubrovnik. Starting in April, Ryanair will operate a six-times-a-week service to Sarajevo, while daily flights to Dubrovnik will commence in the same month.

The new routes aim to cater to diverse travel preferences, providing more options for passengers departing from London Stansted. Travelers can stay updated and book flights on the respective airline websites.
