The Nuance Group has made a major overhaul of its services available at Zurich Airport.
The company said that it has made a series of new investments in its retail portfolio at Zurich Airport. It has added a string of new speciality stores such as Atelier, Tommy Hilfiger, La Prairie and Swatch. It has also expanded its Walk Through Duty Free concept, which it says was a huge draw with customers.
TRBusiness.com said that the Walk Through Duty Free area, which has already been open for some time, has now been extended to offer new product categories such as perfume & cosmetics boutiques, fashion accessories, sunglasses, and a new technology area where Apple products are on display.
In addition, the company has also maintained its focus on beauty products and services, with services tailored to suit departing Swiss locals and mainland Europeans and the increasing numbers of travellers from Asia. The new additions also include 20-plus square metres of ‘best-in-class boutique areas’ where leading brands such as Chanel, Dior, Lancome, and Estee Lauder offer their services. Brands such as Sisley, Kanebo and Shiseido also offer their premium wares, and travellers are pampered with fashion accessories from Guess and Furla, while the sunglasses section carries brands that include Prada, Gucci, Armani and Silhouette.
Andrea Belardini, CEO Europe, said, ‘We are pleased with our latest achievements, in particular bringing the P&C area into a totally new level and delivering creativity and innovation in speciality, as witnesses through our new Atelier concept, which we are planning to roll out also in our other locations.’
The Nuance Group has been a key retail partner for Zurich Airport and it opened its first store there over 50 years ago. It now has nearly 40 outlets at the Swiss airport, including duty free and tax free shops, brand boutiques and concept stores.
