Ryanair has announced a new Newcastle to Zadar route, commencing in July 2021 and flying once weekly as part of Ryanair’s UK Summer 2021 schedule.

In addition, as part of Ryanair’s UK Summer 2021 schedule, Ryanair also announced a new Liverpool to Zadar route, commencing in July 2021 and flying twice weekly. As part of the announcement, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from £19.99 for travel until the end of October 2021, which must be booked by midnight Thursday, April 1 on the Ryanair.com website.

‘Mindful that Covid restrictions change regularly, customers can now book flights to the new destinations knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so up to two times with a zero-change fee until the end of October 2021, ‘ said Ryanair’s Commercial Director, Jason Mc Guinness.

Leon McQuaid, Head of Aviation Development at Newcastle International Airport said: ‘It’s fantastic to see more great news from Ryanair for the region today with the announcement of Zadar, a brand new destination for Newcastle International Airport this summer. As well as being home to some of Croatia’s best beaches Zadar also provides easy access to three stunning national parks, popular with hikers and rock climbers, and is the main gateway to many of Croatia’s most popular music festivals.

Zadar, is now the ninth Ryanair destination from Newcastle International Airport, and in addition to Chania announced last week it provides even more choice for the North East traveling public. We are very much looking forward to welcoming passengers from across the region when travel restrictions are eased.’

Paul Winfield, Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s Director of Aviation Development said, ‘It’s great to see Ryanair’s commitment to Liverpool, the City Region and beyond continue with the return of their flights to Zadar, their third new route to be announced from Liverpool in recent months.

Throughout the lockdown we’ve continued to work with our airline partners to explore new route opportunities so that as soon as the region’s passengers can travel abroad, they will be able to jet off on a much-needed holiday to a host of great destinations from Liverpool once again.’
