easyJet and easyJet Holidays have announced a new route and package holiday options to the sun-soaked destination of Fuerteventura from their recently established base in Birmingham, with package holidays now on sale for next summer.

The move follows the establishment of a new operational hub in Birmingham, complete with the integration of three additional aircraft by the spring of 2024. The city of Birmingham is connected to sought-after destinations like Amsterdam, Geneva, Milan, Naples, Lisbon, Faro, and Palma de Mallorca. Additionally, vital domestic links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast underscore the city’s significance as a travel hub.

With the announcement of 15 new routes set to launch next summer, the number of routes from Birmingham is set to increase to 29, including the addition of Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura boasts immaculate, sun-drenched beaches of soft, white sands, making it a haven for sun-seekers and water sport enthusiasts alike. From rejuvenating sunbaths to thrilling aquatic exploits and snorkeling adventures in crystalline turquoise waters, the island promises a perfect retreat for travellers.

The package holidays to Fuerteventura encompass stays at diverse hotels, each tailored to varying preferences and budget considerations. Notable among these offerings are a 7-night stay at the 3-star Globales Costa Tropical on an All-Inclusive basis for £519 per person from Birmingham on June 20, 2024. Similarly, a 7-night sojourn at the 4-star Occidental Jandia Playa on a Half Board basis is offered at £582 per person for departure on May 16, 2024. Travelers can also indulge in a 7-night stay at the 5-star Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace on a Half Board basis, priced at £879 per person for departure from Birmingham on April 18, 2024. Lastly, a 7-night experience at the 4-star Labranda Bahia de Lobos, on a Half Board basis, can be availed for £685 per person, departing from Birmingham on April 18, 2024.

Paul Bixby, Commercial Director at easyJet holidays, said: ‘We’re delighted to have launched package holidays from Birmingham to Fuerteventura today, following the announcement of the newest aircraft base which will ensure our brilliant holidays at unbeatable prices are available to holidaymakers across the UK into Summer 2024 and beyond’

Tom Screen, Aviation Director for Birmingham Airport, said: ‘As we continue to bask in the warm glow of the news easyJet will base three of its A320 aircrafts at BHX from March 2024, we are struck by yet more good news with EasyJet Holidays’ serving Fuerteventura from BHX, an established favourite offering customers greater choice and frequency next summer.’

The packages come with the ‘Ultimate Flexibility’ feature, granting the freedom to alter bookings, a refund guarantee, and best price assurance.
