    easyJet announces new routes for summer 2024

    easyJet has announced it will be launching twelve new routes from eight UK airports, including three routes to Alicante in Spain and Enfidha in Tunisia, as well as flights returning to Reus in Spain.

    In addition, easyJet holidays has also launched package holidays at competitive prices on the brand new routes, including its first ever beach destinations from Southampton.

    Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, commented: ‘We’re delighted to be launching twelve new routes and package holidays from eight of our airports across the UK to a fantastic range of leisure destinations, offering even more choice and connectivity to our customers all across the UK, whether they’re planning a holiday to Spain’s sunny coast or Tunisia’s beach town Enfidha as well as even more connections from the UK to beach favourites Malta, Faro and Cyprus.’

    The two new routes to Spain’s coastal city Alicante will launch from Southampton on March 31 and Belfast City on May 2, while the route from Newcastle to Alicante will launch on April 2, 2024. The three routes will operate throughout summer with Southampton to Alicante scheduled once a week on a Sunday, Newcastle to Alicante twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday, and Belfast City to Alicante twice a week on Thursday and Sunday.

    Additionally, easyJet will also restart flights from Luton to Reus in Spain as well as launch a new route from Manchester, on April 2 and operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer.

    The UK-based airline has also announced three new routes to Enfidha in north-eastern Tunisia which will operate year-round. Liverpool to Enfidha will launch on April 1 and operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, Belfast International to Enfidha will launch on April 20 and operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and Glasgow to Enfidha will launch on May 2 and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

    Also launching next summer is a new route from Bristol to Malta with the debut flight commencing on the Easter weekend – April 3, and operating twice a week throughout summer on Wednesdays and Fridays. Further, a new route from Glasgow to Cyprus’ port city Larnaca will start on May 4 and operate twice a week throughout summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lastly, a new route from Southampton to Faro will also launch on June 6 and operate once a week on Thursdays throughout the peak summer season.
