easyJet, the UK-based airline, has announced the introduction of 90,000 extra seats to some of Europe’s most popular ski and beach destinations, as holidaymakers prepare for much needed Easter and summer getaways this year.

With the announcement, UK customers now have more flights from London Gatwick, London Luton, Bristol, Manchester, and Liverpool to choose from with fares starting from just £22.99 to Geneva, £26.99 to Salzburg, £20.99 to Faro, and £25.99 to Alicante.

For those looking to hit the slopes before the end of the season, 50,000 of the additional seats are available to a selection of popular ski destinations including Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Salzburg, and Sofia, from across a selection of UK airports, including over the Easter break.

And those looking for summer sun, extra seats are on sale to some of Europe’s popular beach resorts which no longer require testing for fully-vaccinated UK visitors, including Faro in Portugal, Barcelona and Malaga in Spain starting from just £20.99. 20,000 additional seats are available from Liverpool to destinations including Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Cyprus and 6,000 additional seats are on sale from Manchester to Malaga for this summer.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: ‘We are delighted to be adding even more seats to our summer 2022 schedule, so that we can provide our customers in the UK with even more choice to enjoy to some of Europe’s best ski, beach, and city destinations, just in time to book an Easter break to look forward to.

‘We know that so many people have missed being able to holiday over the last two years and so it is a priority for many UK consumers. With low fares from just £20.99, hundreds of fantastic destinations to choose from, and many no longer requiring testing restrictions, now is a great time to book with easyJet.

‘We are excited about our plans for next summer, which should see us return to near 2019 levels of flying and we can’t wait to welcome our customers back onboard.’
