Tour operator, Jet2holidays, has announced the expansion of its offering to Turkiye, its fastest-growing holiday destination over the past five years.

For Summer 2024, Jet2holidays is introducing package holidays to two brand-new resorts in Dalaman – Kas and Kalkan. Jet2holidays has also expanded its portfolio by adding hotels in Kas and Kalkan to cater to the strong demand from travellers seeking the Turkish sunshine. Previously, these resorts were only available through Jet2Villas, but now they are part of Jet2holidays’ package holiday offerings.

Jet2 says that Kas and Kalkan, located on Turkiye’s stunning southwest coast, are renowned for their charming bougainvillea-covered stone houses, picturesque cobblestone streets, trendy beach clubs, authentic restaurants, and bustling traditional markets. These resorts offer a plethora of attractions, including Blue Flag beaches, ancient historical sites, and breathtaking natural scenery.

Customers booking a package holiday to Kas and Kalkan with Jet2holidays can take direct flights to Dalaman from all eleven of Jet2.com’s UK bases. Furthermore, transfers to and from Dalaman airport are included in the package. With up to 90 weekly flights to Dalaman during peak periods next summer, Jet2 says that travellers and independent agents have ample choice and flexibility when planning their getaway to these new Turkish resorts.

Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO, said: ‘As the UK’s leading tour operator to Turkiye, we are delighted to be announcing the launch of package holidays with Jet2holidays to Kas and Kalkan and expanding our offering in the region. Launching a fantastic collection of hotels in these two resorts comes off the back of strong demand for getaways to Turkiye. It gives holidaymakers the chance to visit these authentic Turkish destinations. As well as being able to access this region, holidaymakers can also take advantage of the benefits of booking a package holiday for the first time to Kas and Kalkan with Jet2holidays. These benefits, combined with our reputation of delivering exceptional customer service, mean we are confident that the launch of package holidays to these new resorts will be popular with customers and independent travel agents.’

This expansion adds 13 new 2.5 to 4.5-star properties to Jet2holidays’ offerings in Kas and Kalkan. The company says that travelers can select from various board options, including self-catering and bed and breakfast. The accommodation choices range from budget-friendly apartments to boutique boltholes and luxurious escapes. Some of the newly available hotels include the Pirat Hotel, Kalkan Saray Suites, and Peninsula Gardens Hotel & Beach.

Jet2holidays’ says that its package holidays come with several advantages, including VIP customer service, airport transfers, ATOL protection, traveller-friendly flight schedules, and a generous 22kg baggage allowance with Jet2.com. These benefits are available for a booking deposit of GBP60 per person.
