Voyages of Discovery, a US-based cruise company, has announced its summer 2013 offerings with the release of a new brochure.
The new brochure is offering a range of itinerary choices and special interest cruises for two ships, the 550-guest Voyager, and the 650-guest Discovery. Discovery and Voyager amenities include a health and fitness centre, swimming pools, public jacuzzis, lounges, bars, restaurants, a cinema, a library, a communications centre, and an Internet centre.
The new summer 2013 Cruise Collection includes around 22 new ports-of-call, and a special offer on advance bookings. Guests will receive 15 percent off the early booking fares on making reservations for 2013 summer cruises by July 31, 2012.
The new cruise collections will have both ships sailing in the same regions, giving travellers more choice of itineraries. The ships will be venturing into the 2013 summer sailing season with round-trip cruises from London to the British Isles, Northern Europe and the Baltic.
The other cruises include a 19-day Summer Solstice and White Sea cruise roundtrip from London, which departs from June 16, 2012. The fares for the cruise commence at USD2,804 per person.
The cruises into the Mediterranean region include visits to the destinations Valencia, Spain; Sibenik, Croatia; Patmos, Kavala and Thessaloniki, Greece; and Monaco.
Cruises on the Black Sea include a 12-day voyage on Discovery, departing from Istanbul on October 17, 2013, while a themed cruise, including the discovery of sites from Greek mythology, Russian palaces and cities is available on an 11-day cruise on Discovery departing from Athens on October 7, 2013.
