Wizz Air has said that it will add another new route from Bristol Airport to Kosice, Slovakia.
The new Kosice route will commence on October 10 and will be operated with two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The route announcement follows the introduction of Sofia, Bulgaria to Wizz Air’s schedule from Bristol. The addition of the Kosice flight brings the total number of Wizz Air destinations to three from Bristol, namely Katowice, Sofia and Kosice.

A city in eastern Slovakia situated on the river Hornad, Kosice presents travellers and explorers with a well preserved historical centre with many historical buildings, palaces and churches. Kosice is the second largest city in Slovakia after the capital Bratislava. The city is near the border with Hungary and close to the eastern reaches of the Slovak Ore Mountains.
Kosice was named the European Capital of Culture 2013.
