Crystal Cruises, a US-based cruise company, is offering an expanded entertainment programme for its European voyages in 2012.
The cruise line is offering performances by celebrated local performers, showcasing the culture and customs of their homelands. The cruise entertainment programme will be including Flamenco in Barcelona, Irish step dancing in Dublin, as well as shows by local dancers, singers, and musicians in Italy, France, Spain, Monaco, Ireland, Turkey, Sweden and Ukraine, on 26 luxury cruises aboard the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity ships.
Chris Corrigall, the company entertainment manager, said, ‘Travellers trying to catch a very popular act in a foreign destination can find it challenging and time consuming to research options, buy tickets and travel to the show. Making this kind of inclusive entertainment available on board allows all of our guests to more conveniently enjoy another aspect of authentic local culture, and adds to the signature pleasures of The Crystal Experience.’
The featured artists include Interpreti Veneziani, a string ensemble performing in Venice (Italy), The Chamber Orchestra from the Music School of Stolyarsky for gifted children, in Odessa (Ukraine), Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco, a boys’ choir, in Monte Carlo (Monaco), Hodjapasha Culture Center Whirling Dervish ceremonial show, in Istanbul (Turkey), and Teatro Tasso, in Sorrento (Italy). The live entertainment shows are also offered in St Petersburg (Russia), Honfleur (France), and Stockholm (Sweden).
The cruise line is offering all-inclusive, book-now fares until June 30, 2012, for seven to 15-day European voyages, for prices commencing at $1,828.65 per person.
