Holiday Inn Express, a hotel brand from UK based InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has announced the opening of three new Holiday Inn Express hotels in the UK.
The new Holiday Inn Express hotels have opened in Braintree, Shrewsbury and Birmingham, after being converted from Hampton by Hilton hotel properties. Kew Green Hotels will operate the properties.
The chief development officer for IHG Europe, Robert Shepherd, said, ‘Holiday Inn Express is one of the fastest growing mid-scale hotel brands in the industry, opening on average two hotels per week around the world. They’re a great hotel choice for guests on the go as they offer exactly what they need – a great night’s sleep in a quality hotel, with a free breakfast.
Every year 100 million people stay at a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express hotel around the world. They know they can expect a consistent, refreshed experience at an affordable price wherever they are.’
Holiday Inn Express hotels claim to offer fashionable accommodation with signature bedroom and bathroom collections, complimentary breakfast and Internet connectivity, and efficient guest services.
Paul Johnson, the chief executive officer of Kew Green Hotels Ltd, said, ‘We are delighted to have signed agreements for these three great hotels and look forward to working with the management teams and staff to ensure their guests experience the best of the Holiday Inn Express experience. We have worked with the owners to provide a strategic solution to these hotels and look forward to realising their potential and maximising owner returns.’
