RateHawk, the B2B booking platform, has announced a strategic partnership with GIATA, aiming to enhance the hotel mapping solution provided by GIATA’s MultiCodes.

RateHawk, which offers travel professionals access to more than 2.6 million hotels globally, will play a key role in expanding the accuracy and depth of GIATA’s database. This partnership will see RateHawk recommending GIATA as its preferred mapping provider, boosting data precision across platforms.

GIATA’s MultiCodes solution is recognised as the world’s largest hotel mapping database, designed to resolve data inconsistencies in the travel sector by assigning a unique code to each hotel property.

The collaboration with RateHawk is set to bolster the solution’s capabilities, ensuring smoother integration and more reliable hotel data for travel agencies, tour operators, and booking platforms. As a result, the travel industry will benefit from reduced booking errors and enhanced data accuracy.

“We are excited to partner with RateHawk, a leader in travel booking,” said Rainer Schäfer, VP Sales at GIATA. “This collaboration will allow us to offer even greater precision in our MultiCodes mapping, ensuring our clients have access to the most reliable hotel data available.”

Christopher Jallah, Head of API Distribution at RateHawk, echoed this enthusiasm: “At RateHawk, we prioritise delivering top-notch content to our partners. Working closely with GIATA will elevate the quality of our hotel data and simplify interactions with our API partners.”

The partnership is expected to provide significant benefits to both companies and the wider travel industry. By combining GIATA’s expertise in hotel data mapping with RateHawk’s extensive hotel database, the collaboration will enhance the overall booking experience for users. Travel professionals will enjoy seamless platform integration, greater reliability in hotel information, and an overall improved booking process.
