The show will celebrate Ras Al Khaimah’s heritage and natural wonders in an official attempt to set Guinness World Records™ titles

Ras Al Khaimah is set to dazzle the world with an unprecedented drone and fireworks display that will take centre stage during the New Year’s Eve celebration in attempt to set new Guinness World Records™ titles.

Themed “Our Story in the Sky”, the 15-minute display will be longest New Year’s Eve show produced in the emirate to date, unfolding in three acts inspired by the natural beauty, heritage, and culture of Ras Al Khaimah. The celebration will reach its crescendo with a stunning display of fireworks and drones lighting up the night sky at midnight.

Building on the success of last year’s record-setting event, which achieved two Guinness World Records™ titles for the ‘Longest chain of aquatic floating fireworks’ and the ‘Longest straight-line drones display’, this year’s extravaganza will push the boundaries of innovation and creativity even further. Combining drone artistry with creative laser technology, the show aims to set new world records with iconic symbols of Ras Al Khaimah’s natural and cultural heritage formed by drones in the sky. The ground-breaking display promises to captivate spectators with a visual masterpiece unlike any other, reaffirming Ras Al Khaimah’s status as a must-visit destination, with New Year’s Eve a calendar highlight.

Set against the breathtaking waterfront stretching from Marjan Island to Al Hamra Village, the show orchestrated by the world’s leading specialists – SKYMAGIC for the drone displays and Fireworks by Grucci for the pyrotechnic spectacle – will pair mesmerising fireworks and cutting-edge technology to tell the story of Ras Al Khaimah through breath-taking visuals.
