Jet2holidays offers ‘Bid for a Break’ for third year

Jet2holidays has announced that its ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign will return for another year.

Popular with customers since its launch in August 2021, Jet2’s ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign gives holidaymakers the opportunity to bid for their next holiday for as little as just a few pence. Through the campaign over 50 holidaymakers have successfully ‘Bid on a Break’ over the last three years. Following customer request, Jet2holidays has confirmed that ‘Bid for a Break’ will relaunch today, April 17.

The first holiday to bid on, when the campaign relaunches, is a seven-night holiday for two adults and two children to the Pine Bay Holiday Resort in Izmir. The other holidays available to bid on will include: a seven-night holiday for two adults to the Porto Platanias Luxury Selection in Crete; a seven-night holiday for two adults and two children to the Jupiter Albufeira Hotel in the Algarve; and a seven-night holiday for two adults to the Oludeniz Beach Resort by Z Hotels in Dalaman.

With a new holiday available to bid on each week, holidaymakers have a number of opportunities to successfully bid on a break throughout 2023. Bidding opens at 9.00am every Monday and closes at 12pm on a Thursday.

To Bid for a Break, holidaymakers need to download the Jet2 mobile app and add in their bid to the nearest pence. If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will purchase the holiday for the same price as their bid. Qantas announces ‘The Ultimate Trip’ flights from Heathrow to Sydney

Qantas is offering 70 people the opportunity to win ‘The Ultimate Trip’: a five-night stay in Sydney, Australia, travelling from Heathrow on the Qantas A380.

The announcement comes as Qantas honours Heathrow’s 70th anniversary and its partnership with the airport. ‘As part of [the] celebration, travellers are invited to share their favourite Heathrow memory – from amusing anecdotes to heart-warming tales – to be in with a chance to win one of the 35 pairs of tickets available,’ the airport said. Entrants can upload their story at stories.heathrow.com.

As part of ‘The Ultimate Trip,’ which is set to commence in May 2017, the winners will have the opportunity to explore the Australian city during their five-night stay in a central Sydney hotel. Heathrow will announce the full itinerary at in January 2017 as part of Qantas’ Australia Day celebrations, it said.
