easyJet and easyJet holidays offers new Greece routes from Bristol for Summer 2021

easyJet and easyJet holidays have announced the launch of new flights and holidays from Bristol Airport to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini for this summer.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: ‘We know that people want to travel as soon as they can and as soon as it is safe to do so and so we want to ensure they have even more destinations to choose from when making a booking for this summer.’

The new route from Bristol to Santorini will commence on May 31, 2021. Flights are available from £30.99, or a seven-night package holiday including flights, hotel, bags and transfers can be booked for £373 per person. The route to Mykonos will operate from Bristol starting May 28, 2021, with fares available from £30.99 and holidays available from £373 per person, with a range of hotels including the adults only 4-star Andronikos hotel. All easyJet holidays can be booked with a deposit of GBP60 per person.

Flights to both new destinations will operate once a week throughout the summer, providing anyone travelling from the South West with a direct connection to the popular Greek resorts. The new route joins the existing easyJet routes from Bristol to Athens, Corfu, Crete, Kefalonia, Kos, Preveza, Rhodes and Zakynthos. The airline has also added more seats on summer routes from Bristol to Turkey, with additional departures on Mondays to Antalya and on Tuesdays and Fridays to Dalaman as well as on Sundays to the Greek Island of Corfu.

easyJet holidays offers seven nights at the 3-star Olia Hotel, Mykonos, on a room only basis for £373 per person including flights from Bristol airport, 23kg of luggage per person and transfers on October 22, 2021.

easyJet holidays also offers seven nights at the 5-star Splendour Resort, Santorini, on a bed and breakfast basis for £595 per person including flights from Bristol airport, 23kg of luggage per person and transfers on July 12, 2021. Bookings can be made at easyjet.com/en/holidays

easyJet and easyJet holidays have introduced flexible customer policies under its ‘Protection Promise’, which includes a Refund Guarantee for flights or holidays if they are cancelled plus a full refund for holidays if a customer changes their plan up to 28 days before. With the Travel Ban Protection customers can also receive a refund for non-cancelled flights if plans are impacted by travel bans in a regional or national lockdown. Customers also have the Freedom to Change flights without a fee up to 14 days before departure, and can change a holiday up to 28 days before departure; and if quarantine measures come in to place at the last minute, the Quarantine Assurance allows changing impacted flights without a change fee. All holidays are covered under easyJet holidays’ Covid commitments if holidays cannot proceed, or are impacted by restrictions.

Jet2holidays announces new destination to Mykonos from Manchester and Stansted

Jet2Holidays has announced the launch of flights and holidays to a new Greek destination for Summer 20 – the island of Mykonos.

The UK-based holiday company will operate to the Cycladic island from Manchester and London Stansted Airports. One of Greece’s most famous and cosmopolitan islands, Mykonos offers holidaymakers access to some beautiful beaches. Customers can also enjoy resorts and whitewashed villages such as Agios Ioannis, Elia Beach, Mykonos Town, Psarrou, Ornos and Platis Yialos.

Jet2 will operate up to two weekly services to Mykonos from Manchester Airport, with a Sunday service operating from May 24 through to November 1, and a Thursday service operating from July 16 through to September 24. Jet2 will also operate up to two weekly services from London Stansted Airport, with a weekly Sunday service running from May 24 through to November 1, as well as a weekly Tuesday service operating from May 26 to September 22.

British Airways launches new flights to Portugal and Greece from Heathrow

British Airways, the UK’s national carrier, is planning to launch new flights from Heathrow to Oporto in Portugal and Mykonos and Santorini in Greece for the summer of 2014.

The airline will start operating twice-weekly flights to Oporto from March 30, to Mykonos from May 3 and to Santorini from May 4. Tickets for flights from London to all three destinations are now available for sale on ba.com.

From March 30, the airline will also start twice-weekly flights from Heathrow to Malaga and Faro. This move is intended to give travellers more choice regarding their departure airport, as the routes are already served by British Airways from Gatwick and London City. Faro will also benefit, as the airline is set to increase the Gatwick service from 8 to 14 services a week next summer.

British Airways services from Heathrow to Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Rome, Basel, Zurich, Amsterdam and Aberdeen will all benefit from frequency increases during the summer.

Lynne Embleton, director of strategy, said: ‘We want to give our customers even more great destinations to choose from next summer. We believe the introduction of Oporto, Mykonos and Santorini will prove very popular with holiday-makers looking for summer sun and the start of flights to Faro and Malaga from Heathrow, plus the increase in frequencies to a number of popular summer routes will give them even more choice.’

As part of its summer 2014 offer, British Airways Holidays is offering seven nights at the Scorpios Beach Apartments & Studios, Santorini, from £399 per person for travel in June, including return flights from Heathrow and accommodation with breakfast. The airline is also offering seven nights at the Pelican Bay Art, Mykonos, from £539 per person for travel in June, including return flights from Heathrow and accommodation with breakfast

A three-night break in Oporto is offered at the Mercure Porto Centro hotel from £299 per person for travel in June, including return flights from Heathrow and accommodation only.
