Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled Paradise Plaza and Calypso Lagoon, two of the five portals at Celebration Key. Set to open in July 2025, this destination is anticipated in over 500 itineraries.

The new areas will showcase Carnival’s dedication to combining creativity with cultural celebration, offering attractions that blend leisure with the unique Bahamian environment.

Paradise Plaza, designed as a central hub for visitors, will offer an inviting community space with essential wayfinding and destination information. In addition to its practical features, the plaza is visually captivating with an eye-catching promenade, a sun-shaped archway, and a 10-storey-high ‘suncastle’, symbolising Carnival’s commitment to aesthetic innovation and visitor experience enhancement.

One of the noteworthy features is the adult-only section, which includes a swim-up bar, live DJ, and comfortable amenities like cabanas and loungers. With its engaging setting, Calypso Lagoon is crafted for those seeking leisurely escape amidst lively entertainment.

This curation of diverse attractions at Celebration Key aims to highlight both the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Bahamas. With plans for a waterpark in a future development phase, Carnival continues to enhance its offerings.

The inclusion of cultural motifs and the engagement with local craftsmanship and art further solidify the project’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices, ensuring that the island’s development benefits both visitors and the local community.

The efficient design of entry points aids in managing visitor flow, allowing guests to commence their island adventure promptly upon arrival, a testament to Carnival’s focus on visitor-centric development.

This forward-looking approach reflects Carnival’s strategic vision to remain at the forefront of innovative cruise experiences, continuously adapting and evolving to meet and exceed passenger expectations.
