Exodus Adventure Travels has made a significant move by rejoining the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas). The decision aims to bolster its partnerships with travel agents, which are pivotal to the company’s business strategy.

By rejoining Atas, Exodus Adventure Travels seeks to leverage its strong relationships with both large consortia and independent agents. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance collaborations and drive success in the adventure travel market.

Exodus Adventure Travels has always seen UK travel agents as vital to its operations. Since the early days, when it needed to fill overland trucks in the 1970s, agents have played a crucial role. The company values its relationships with agents, both large and small, as a cornerstone of its business.

Exodus offers a range of holidays, including hiking, cycling tours, wildlife, and premium trips. Its innovative offerings, such as re-wilding projects and citizen science departures, are supported by the Exodus Adventure Travels Foundation. These unique trips highlight its commitment to impactful travel.

Fam trips, such as those to Vietnam and Sri Lanka, further build relationships with agents by providing firsthand experience of Exodus’s trips. The Morocco mega-fam will take 50 agents on four itineraries, showcasing the company’s diverse offerings.

Exodus’s commitment to flexibility and protection reflects its understanding of modern traveller needs, positioning it favorably in the competitive market environment.

By integrating sustainability into its core operations, Exodus not only appeals to eco-conscious travellers but also sets a benchmark for the travel industry, promoting responsible tourism.

The UK market also shows potential, with a strong late-booking trend emerging. Exodus remains optimistic about its position as it heads into 2025, driven by its strong market presence and strategic initiatives.

Exodus Adventure Travels’ rejoining of Atas marks a strategic enhancement of its agent partnerships and market presence. The company’s commitment to sustainability, customer-centric innovations, and robust trade relations positions it well for future growth. As it looks towards 2025, Exodus remains dedicated to providing exceptional travel experiences while supporting its agents with the tools they need for success.
