G Adventures has enriched its Jane Goodall Collection with five new wildlife-centric trips, offering unique conservation travel opportunities.

These experiences, launched in honour of Jane Goodall’s milestone birthday, expand the collection to 19 diverse itineraries, immersing travellers in the wonders of nature.

Introduction to the Jane Goodall Collection

G Adventures has expanded its acclaimed Jane Goodall Collection with five new itineraries, marking a significant enhancement in wildlife-focused travel experiences. Initiated to honour Goodall’s 90th birthday, the collection now offers a total of 19 journeys. These trips are designed to immerse travellers in the natural world, aligning tourism with conservation efforts championed by the renowned environmentalist.

    Exploring New Destinations

The new additions cover a variety of exotic locations, each offering unique wildlife encounters. The Amazon, Galápagos Islands, Costa Rica, the US, and Tanzania are now part of this diverse collection. Each of these trips provides an avenue to explore and learn about different ecosystems and the species that inhabit them, reflecting Goodall’s lifelong mission to connect people with nature.

    Signature Experience in Tanzania

One of the standout trips in the new collection is in Tanzania, offering travellers the opportunity to observe chimpanzees at Gombe Stream National Park. This experience is a tribute to Goodall’s groundbreaking research, which began there when she was just 26. In addition to chimpanzee trekking, participants will enjoy a walking safari in the Ngorongoro Crater and a drive across the Serengeti Plains.

    Marine and Wildlife Exploration

Among the new itineraries, the ‘Amazon Riverboat Adventure In-Depth’ provides an exceptional marine travel style experience. Travelling by riverboat offers a distinct perspective on the Amazonian ecosystem. Guests can expect to see a myriad of wildlife, including visits to a rescue centre for orphaned manatees, enhancing their understanding of the importance of protecting vulnerable species.

    Young Adventurers’ Galápagos Journey

The ‘Galapagos Express Adventure’ signifies the first ’18-to-Thirtysomethings’ itinerary in the Jane Goodall Collection. This seven-day adventure is meticulously crafted for young travellers eager to experience one of the world’s most storied environments. Activities are focused on engaging with the breathtaking wildlife and natural landscapes of the Galápagos, fostering a deep appreciation for ecological diversity.

    Immersive Costa Rica Experience

Costa Rica is celebrated for its rich biodiversity, and the ‘Costa Rica: Tortuguero, La Fortuna & Rio Celeste’ tour encapsulates its allure. Participants will kayak through the lush waterways of Tortuguero National Park, an activity that underscores the country’s commitment to sustainable tourism. This journey is complemented by explorations of La Fortuna’s volcanic landscapes and the striking blue waters of Rio Celeste.

    Impact and Inspiration

G Adventures’ founder Bruce Poon Tip expressed a profound admiration for Dr. Goodall’s contributions to conservation. He highlighted that these itineraries not only provide thrilling travel experiences but also emphasize the role travellers can play in preserving wildlife. Goodall herself noted the importance of connecting with nature to inspire environmental stewardship and thanked G Adventures for their ongoing support.

The new wildlife-focused itineraries in the Jane Goodall Collection encourage travellers to engage deeply with nature.

Through these trips, G Adventures and Jane Goodall highlight the importance of wildlife conservation and responsible tourism.
