Inside Travel Group has made strategic leadership appointments to drive its ambitious growth plans.

The addition of Kate Samuel and Sue Livsey brings extensive industry experience to the company.

Inside Travel Group, a renowned name in the travel industry, has recently announced the appointment of two key figures to bolster their leadership team. The company has welcomed Kate Samuel as the senior Japan tailor-made product manager at InsideJapan and Sue Livsey as the head of InsideAsia. These strategic appointments are part of the company’s broader vision to achieve significant growth within the next two years.

Kate Samuel brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously held positions at Scott Dunn, Audley Travel and Trailfinders. With two decades in the industry, her move to InsideJapan is marked by enthusiasm as she views this chapter as an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that holds B Corp status. Sue Livsey, with an illustrious 25-year career, comes from senior product and commercial roles at notable firms like Abercrombie & Kent and Cox & Kings. Livsey has expressed her eagerness to drive growth for InsideAsia, a company dedicated to sustainable cultural adventures.

The appointments are aligned with Inside Travel Group’s vision to double its business size by 2026. Co-founder Simon King highlighted the positive start to their “Year of the Dragon”, reinforcing their commitment to benefiting destination partners, trade partners, and customers. Last year saw the recruitment of over 80 personnel, strengthening the team considerably to support their ambitious strategic goals.

For Samuel, the role involves crafting bespoke journeys within Japan, leveraging her extensive industry expertise. She expressed her readiness to lead exciting projects that align with client expectations and corporate sustainability goals. Livsey’s role will focus on expanding InsideAsia’s offerings, especially after having doubled their departures in 2023 compared to 2019. Both appointees are seen as pivotal in pushing the company’s aspirations for growth and innovation.

King noted that the organization’s growth plans are designed to foster stronger relationships with partners and clients. Samuel and Livsey’s roles are crucial in nurturing these connections, ensuring that Inside Travel Group remains a trusted contributor to global travel experiences. As the company advances, these newly minted leaders are expected to play a substantial role in enhancing these critical partnerships.

The industry anticipates significant developments as Inside Travel Group implements its growth strategies under its revitalized leadership team.
