Saga Cruises is taking onboard entertainment to new heights by partnering with BBC Studios to feature popular TV stars on select voyages.

The collaboration will unfold across multiple itineraries, promising an enriching experience that blends luxury with celebrity-infused entertainment.

    Celebrity Lineup on Saga Cruises

Saga Cruises is set to enhance its onboard entertainment by welcoming renowned TV personalities aboard, thanks to a new collaboration with BBC Studios. The cruise line will host several stars across seven no-fly itineraries scheduled between July 2024 and March 2025, providing passengers with a unique experience of mingling with celebrities. This initiative promises to enrich the cruising experience by combining luxury travel with engaging entertainment.

Among the notable figures joining the cruises are Strictly Come Dancing professionals Luba Mushtuk and Vito Coppola. The duo is scheduled to appear on two distinct sailings: a 22-night journey exploring Croatia and the Adriatic’s treasures departing on February 28, 2025, and an 18-night cruise visiting the Western Mediterranean and the Italian Riviera departing on March 26, 2025. Passengers will have the opportunity to gain insights into the dancers’ illustrious careers and enjoy their performances on board.

    Science and Exploration Aboard

Maggie Aderin-Pocock, the acclaimed presenter of ‘The Sky at Night’, will also grace Saga Cruises with her presence. She is scheduled for two voyages: a 49-night Caribbean and Central America Discovery cruise departing on January 6, 2025, and a 15-night journey to Casablanca and the Canaries departing on February 13, 2025. Her sessions will delve into her career experiences and her efforts in making science accessible to the public.

She is slated to join a 19-night Adriatic Summer cruise featuring Iceland and the North Cape, departing on July 17, and a Contrasts of Canada and the USA cruise departing on September 21. Al-Shamahi’s presentations offer an immersive dive into her exploration techniques and findings.

Guests will be treated to in-depth discussions about her work in anthropology and palaeontology, especially her insights into Neanderthal history and human evolution. Her talks are designed to ignite a sense of curiosity and wonder about our ancient past and the science of human origins.
