Oliver’s Travels has expanded its villa portfolio with a strategic acquisition.

    • The company acquired Menorca Private Owners, adding 32 luxury villas.
    • This marks Oliver’s Travels’ biggest acquisition to date.
    • The company now boasts a total of 159 villas on Menorca.
    • Plans for further investments before year’s end are underway.

Oliver’s Travels has strategically expanded its villa offerings through the acquisition of Menorca Private Owners, a renowned luxury villa rental operator based in Menorca. This acquisition has added 32 new homes to their portfolio, making it the company’s largest acquisition to date, and bringing the total number of villas in Menorca to 159. The move is part of Oliver’s Travels’ ambition to broaden their high-end rental options in popular European destinations.

According to Oliver Bell, co-founder of Oliver’s Travels, the acquisition represents a significant stride in their growth strategy. Bell expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to announce our second acquisition of the year, further expanding our presence in the beautiful region of Menorca.” This addition is set to enhance the company’s portfolio, which now includes over 1,400 holiday homes across Spain.

The transition includes welcoming the team from Menorca Private Owners, with managing director Pete Perera expressing optimism about the partnership’s future. He remarked, “I’m excited by the opportunity to grow the business and continue to be part of the MPO family. I know I speak for the entire team when I say that the business has been left in great hands and will continue to deliver the personal service our owners and travelling clients know us for.”

Oliver’s Travels’ ambition does not stop at this acquisition; they are actively pursuing more strategic growth opportunities. The company aims to announce additional investments before the year concludes, following their acquisition of the French villa specialist, Homes & Provence, earlier in the summer.

This acquisition aligns with Oliver’s Travels’ dedication to delivering unique experiences in top-tier travel destinations, ensuring their clientele has access to premium rental options that cater to diverse preferences and needs.

Oliver’s Travels’ acquisition of Menorca Private Owners highlights its commitment to expanding luxury accommodation offerings within Europe.
