Windstar Cruises is significantly increasing its presence in the UK and Ireland this summer, offering more ship visits for trade partners.

    • The cruise line will accommodate up to 450 trade partners across 11 ports of call with two of its vessels, Star Legend and Star Pride.
    • This expansion follows a record-breaking start to the year and aims to enhance sales and market visibility.
    • The programme is designed to give trade partners a unique experience of Windstar’s distinct offerings, aiding in product promotion.
    • Key ports include Dublin, Edinburgh, and London, with visits scheduled from June to August.

Windstar Cruises is poised to increase its footprint in the UK and Ireland this summer, offering a comprehensive schedule of ship visits. Up to 450 trade partners will have the opportunity to explore two of Windstar’s distinguished vessels, the Star Legend and Star Pride, at 11 ports of call.

Augustus Lonsdale, UK & Ireland head of sales, expressed confidence in this initiative following the success of last year’s programme. “After welcoming over 250 agents onboard last year, I’m delighted that even more UK agents will experience the Star Legend and Star Pride this summer,” he stated.

The cruise line has attributed its expanded schedule to a record-breaking start to the year, with efforts focused on bolstering sales and improving visibility in the UK market. This is a testament to Windstar’s commitment to its trade partners, providing them with unmatched exposure to its ‘180 Degree from Ordinary’ experience.

This programme not only offers a glimpse into Windstar’s unique cruising experience but is also designed to equip trade partners with first-hand knowledge to effectively promote the company’s offerings. By personally experiencing the cruises, agents are expected to convey the appeal of the product more convincingly.
