Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), in collaboration with Abta LifeLine, has launched a new initiative named ‘Walk for Wellness’ in the United Kingdom. This campaign, which has been operational in Australia since 2020, encourages travel agents to engage with nature, fostering mental and physical well-being.
Participants can use the MoveSpring app to track their mileage, access information about the charity, and connect with fellow agents. The app’s chat function will facilitate local meet-ups for shared walks.
The initiative aims to provide a supportive environment for agents to discuss mental health issues openly and take proactive steps towards better well-being.
She emphasised that financial strain often leads to poor mental health, underlining the importance of initiatives like ‘Walk for Wellness’ in providing necessary support.
