Ambassador Cruise Line has announced significant changes to its trade team, welcoming Carly Bowkett as the new business development manager.

The cruise line is set to bolster its trade partnerships across key regions, enhancing its influence and market presence.

Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed Carly Bowkett as the new business development manager. This strategic move aims to enhance trade sales across Scotland, the north of England, and Northern Ireland. The cruise line is focusing on fostering existing commercial relationships while also targeting the development of new agent and trade partnerships.

Carly Bowkett joins Ambassador Cruise Line from her previous position as a store manager at the Protected Travel Shop in Fleetwood, Lancashire. She brings extensive experience in customer service and sales, having worked as a travel sales consultant at Thomas Cook Retail prior to her recent role. Her expertise is expected to contribute significantly to her new position.

Bowkett will report directly to divisional sales manager Karen Cameron. Cameron has expressed confidence in Bowkett’s abilities, describing her as a confident and enthusiastic addition to the team. This appointment is anticipated to benefit Ambassador Cruise Line as it continues to provide its agent partners with critical support and essential tools.

In addition to Bowkett’s appointment, Ambassador Cruise Line has announced a new role for Audra Garner, who will transition from the contact centre to the trade team as a trade support assistant. Garner’s experience in the cruise industry and previous role as a sales consultant at Thomas Cook Retail will be instrumental in her new responsibilities.

The strategic appointments of Bowkett and Garner are aligned with Ambassador’s goals to strengthen its position in the market. By enhancing its trade relationships and focusing on effective partnerships, Ambassador Cruise Line aims to expand its reach and influence within the industry. The company remains committed to serving both its business goals and partners effectively.
